Open casting call for Musical Theatre actors of all types, voices, ages, genders!
In July 2026, the GemCo Players will be mounting the first ever production of Face Blind at the Gem in Emerald, Victoria.
We are seeking a team of talented musical theatre actors for the following roles:
Our lead, Lucas: a tenor who presents as a man in his early 20s. The successful actor will communicate a dangerous vulnerability.
Gangster squad: A group of 5 men and women (matched roughly for height) will play gangsters, swapping roles continually among themselves throughout the show to convey face blindness on the audience.
Therapy group: A second group of 5 men and women (matched roughly for height) will play therapy group members, and also swap continually among themselves throughout the show.
Auditions will be held at the Gem in Emerald on:
Tuesday 5th May, between 7pm and 10pm
Sunday 9th of May, between 12pm and 4pm

Rehearsal period will be from the 19th of May - 15th July:
7-10pm Tuesdays and Fridays, plus the final dress on Wednesday 15th July
12-4pm Sunday 7th & 21st June, and 5th & 12th July
4 x Performances: 7.30pm Friday 17th and Saturday 18th July, 1pm Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July
